sesquipedaliatic: Crazy. We has it. (Default)
Now that I've properly closed a show, I will have evenings off for at least a month. I've though about watching Supernatural a few times, and this seems like an ideal point to pick it up.

But here's the thing. I'm a scaredy-pants. In a big way. I've watched the first third of the first episode twice and decided both times that it was a little more than I could handle.

So tell me. Is it worth sucking up and watching through my fingers? Are there a handful of episodes I should watch? Certain episodes I could avoid so as to not scare myself snotless?

Or should I give it up as a lost cause?

I've seen a fair bit of buzz lately, of two varieties. There's the "oh how awesome is Castiel and/or Crowley?!" chatter and also the "this show is flawed but somehow I still love it" chatter. BOTH OF THESE THINGS APPEAL TO ME.

Advise me, oh internet!
